If it's a struggle to hold that confident and calm exterior - while deep down, you're really hoping someone else could share the burden.....let's look to what could be next so you don't carry it alone.

When inside, you’re imagining different ways to run and hide, screaming in overwhelm because it’s too much and then part of the pressure is keeping this in...because you're unsure of how others would handle this element of you.

At the same time, there are the stirrings, that 'it could be different from this.'

There is somewhere to share this........

You may not be sure about bringing the 'you' others do not see. Please come as you are! You have been trying to work this out yourself - feeling exhausted and now considering trying something new....let's look to create a different space together for some movement...for some hope.

Now let's look back to see how I could support you now....

Supporting the prioritising of health and wellbeing in others has been a connecting cord throughout my working life.

Saying that, knowing someone as they take steps to reveal the essence of who they are and me, having the honour to see, feel and hear who they really are, that has been a beacon throughout my whole life.

The settings have changed.......

~ From initially a community medical setting, sitting a consulting room with a patient.  Without it being said, patients having the knowing: it was okay to share their difficulties and fears, managing one or several medical conditions and trying to balance this with the needs and demands of their life.  Leaving the consulting room at the end, grateful to have had a moment to let go.

~ To sitting in a serene counselling room in a hospice as someone shares how devastating it's been to have lost someone in their life, to have lost the life they knew.  When it can feel so scary, a place, an opportunity to release and allow for what genuinely comes next.

~ And evolved to my practice now, speaking to clients that have chosen to click on a Zoom link or pick up their phone and connect with me from their preferred spaces.  As they begin first, sharing the parts of their story, their individual experience of the world, whatever that is, as a part of their process of exploring and unveiling changes.

There has been such privilege in providing a regular safe space to others before you, as they have navigated through really difficult circumstances and their individual personal challenges

- as a NHS Healthcare Professional and then working within a Hospice Bereavement service and again, has emerged with those that have chosen to work with me in exactly the same way you are considering right now.

Highlights on how I can help you

  • Struggling with the gap of how others see you and how you feel really feel and looking to explore this......Together, we can examine the various aspects of what you bring and reassemble them to create a new perspective.  Allow the use of my foundational training: integrating different theories and my experience as an integrative counsellor to provide a space to work through this with you, as I have done for others.

  • Looking to explore feeling different in your usual spaces......Use my experience of working with and supporting neurodivergence  interlinked with training such as Working with Neurodivergence in the therapy room and a Certificate in Working Therapeutically with Autistic clients.

  • The pain, numbness and what can be the messiness of feelings associated with loss......Use my training and experience of being within a hospice bereavement service.

  • Using ethics that you can see written by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, BACP to contribute to a safe environment and framework for you to utilise for you and your process - Accredited Registered member of BACP
